Rechargeable Hearing Aids

Most rechargeable hearing aid batteries are made of lithium-ion, a material that is safer than other battery types. Lithium-ion does not contain mercury or cadmium and is less prone to overheating and short-circuiting.

BTE – Behind the Ear Hearing Aid

A behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aid hooks over the top of your ear and rests behind the ear. A tube connects the hearing aid to a custom earpiece called an ear mold that fits in your ear canal

 RIC – Reciever in Canal Hearing Aid

A RIC hearing aid is a small and lightweight. It consists of the following The Case, which sits behind the ear and contains the microphone, amplifier, and processor. Then a receiver, which contains the speaker and fits into the ear canal.

 ITC – In the Canal Hearing Aid

In-the-canal (ITC) ear machines are custom-made to fit partially in the ear canal, offering a discreet appearance. ITC hearing aid devices provide features like volume control and directional microphones while being suitable for mild to profound hearing loss.

CIC – Completely in the Canal Hearing Aid

A completely-in-the-canal (CIC) hearing aid is one of these solutions. A custom-built, discreet hearing device for your unique ear anatomy, designed to sit completely in the ear canal. It is suitable for those with mild to severe hearing loss.

IIC – Invisible in the Canal Hearing Aid

The invisible-in-the canal (IIC) hearing aid has an invisible design that is the perfect solution for those seeking a discreet hearing aid. The IIC is worn deep within the ear canal, allowing you to hear more of the sounds around you with a device that is hardly visible in and around your ear.
